Overview

This year, the Australasian Language Technology Workshop (ALTA) will be held at the University of Melbourne in Melbourne on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th of December 2010. This event will be the eight annual installment of the ALTA Workshop in its most-recent incarnation, and the continuation of an annual workshop series that has existed under various guises since the early 90s.
The ALTA Workshop will be held in conjunction with the The Fifteenth Australasian Document Computing Symposium ADCS 2010, which focuses on issues ranging from the fundamentals of document architectures and standards for markup, through various aspects of document processing.

Getting There

The venue for the scientific program is Theatre 3 at the ICT Building at the University of Melbourne (111 Barry Street, Carlton VIC 3053).

Invited Speakers

We have to invited speakers for the Workshop. As an internatioal guest we Rodolfo Delmonte from University Ca' Foscari.
As a local guest from Australia we have invited Casey Whitelaw, who works at Google.
